To help managers maintain a the details of their players and player contacts we have provided an excel spread sheet that includes a simple data entry form. This spread sheet imported into the club database provides the coaches with the ability to use the team selection and formation tools. The spread sheet uses a simple VB marco to display a form which which reads the fields in the selected row and updates them when the form is submitted. It ensures date formats and options are consistant.

At the end of each season clubs should provide players/players parents with a record of the details the club has so that any corrections can be made. We use a word document and mail merge on the team spread sheet to produce a printable document.

In the interests of youth football development we have provided a sample template of the spread sheet and a sample team register word document for clubs to download.
